Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires a minimum of four years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training following graduation from dental school. The doctors here at Melrose-Wakefield Oral Surgery have completed the most advanced training available each having earned their medical degrees from the prestigious Harvard Medical School.
As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, our doctors manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. Dr. Lackey, Dr. Blaeser, Dr. DiPirro and Dr. Tucker practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. Their training at top hospitals such as Massachusetts General and Boston Children’s Hospital has allowed them to utilize the most advanced techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort.
